Dr. Howard Chi

Dr. Howard Chi studied at the New York University College of Art and Science, completing double bachelor’s art degrees in biochemistry and computer Science in 1995.

He was accepted to New York University College of Dentistry with scholarship and graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2005. He was top 5% of his class and was elected as a member of national dental honor society OKU.

Dr. Chi then started his specialty residency as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center affliated with Seton Hall University Graduate Medical Education in New Jersey. He served as the chief resident of oral and maxillofacial surgery department in 2009. After graduated from residency, Dr. Chi became board certified in 2011 by American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Chi’s passion lies in dental alveolar surgeries (dental extraction and jaw bone related surgery), dental implants and office sedation. He is known for his kindness and patience towards everyone he treated because he understands dental visits can be nerve wracking and even traumatic to many people.
